One of the most important steps you can do to balance your life is on-going lymphatic system detoxification. If you don't balance your checkbook, eventually you will bounce a check. If you don't balance your life your body tightens, you don't sleep well, become fatigued and eventually become ill. For most of our life we lived without an understanding of the lymphatic system and acid-alkaline balance, and our health is paying the price. The lymphatic system (a tiny network of vessels and nodes) has many roles from circulating white blood cells to fight foreign invaders, to cleaning parts of dead cells, cholesterol, fat and toxins in order to keep them from building in the body. When the lymphatic system is functioning optimally you feel different, less congested and more alive.
Just being aware that you have a lymphatic system, and that it plays an important role in removing waste and fat from your body, is a monumental step in the right direction to attaining good health. When you begin to learn methods that you can personally do to promote a healthy lymphatic system, you gain control over a very important part of your physiology. You can use this to improve many of your health problems like pain, stress, chronic fatigue, insomnia, depression, anxiety and a weakened immune system.
It doesn't take much to activate the lymphatic system to improve circulation and detoxification in the body. You can take a few short breaks during your day to do some easy stretches. Put signs by your computer or desk to take two deep breaths often. Sit and stand straight (slouching impedes lymph flow), exercise, and eat more vegetables and fruit. One of the Simplest ways to improve lymph flow is by being well hydrated with alkaline water.
In my studies on pH and the lymphatic system, I was shocked to see how little water people drink (many consumed less than two glasses per day). Often clients tell me they drink a lot of water, but it's not helping their problem. You have to move and deep breath in order to move more hydrated blood deeper into the tissues that may be dehydrated and overly acidic. One of the Best ways to promote a healthy lymphatic system is by self-activating your lymphatic system with your own two hands. This one step can improve circulation and detoxification in the body to improve your health and how you feel physically and mentally.
